How to Reach Us
BY CAR
From Rome: Come off the highway at the "Firenze Sud" exit and follow directions for the center. Once you arrive at the traffic lights at the end of Lungarno del Tempio you have to turn right. Drive towards Piazza Beccaria, then along Viale Antonio Gramsci and Viale Giacomo Matteotti, until you reach Piazza della Libertà. Turn into Via Lorenzo il Magnifico, and at the first traffic lights turn left into Via Poliziano. Go straight down Via Santa Caterina and Via Nazionale, until you reach the Station. Go round Piazza Unità d'Italia and take Via del Melarancio. Afterwards, turn right into Via del Giglio, and turn right again into Via dell'Alloro. When you come to the end of Via dell'Alloro, turn right into Via de' Conti. Drive along the entire road and turn right into Via dei Cerretani, which then becomes Via Dei Banchi. You will find the hotel on the left-hand side.
From Milan: Come off the highway at the "Firenze Nord" exit and follow directions for the center. Once you reach the end of Viale Francesco Redi, turn right and then left into Via Guido Monaco. Drive to the end of Via Guido Monaco, and turn left into Via Fratelli Rosselli. After the tunnel going under the railway, follow the Ring Roads going around the Fortezza da Basso. Continue down Viale Lavagnini. When you come to the first traffic lights, turn right into Via Santa Caterina and Via Nazionale, and continue driving until you reach the Station. Go round Piazza Unità d'Italia and take Via del Melarancio. Afterwards, turn right into Via del Giglio, and turn right again into Via dell'Alloro.
When you come to the end of Via dell'Alloro, turn right into Via de' Conti. Drive along the entire road and turn right into Via dei Cerretani, which then becomes Via Dei Banchi. You will find the hotel on the left-hand side, number 3/r.
BY PLANE
From the "Amerigo Vespucci" Florence airport, you can reach the Balcony Hotel with the shuttle service connecting the airport to the center, or by private taxi.
BY TRAIN
From the Santa Maria Novella station, you can reach the Balcony Hotel either by private taxi or on foot: from Piazzale della Stazione you will come to Piazza Santa Maria Novella, and turning left into Via dei Banchi, you will find the hotel at number 3/r.
